Store Fit-out Assistant | Retail Sales Assistant – Help set up and refit our stores across Victoria - East.
Multiple Roles and Locations across Carrum downs, Lilydale, Pakenham and Eltham!
Here is what you can expect to be doing day to day when you join our fun, friendly & inclusive team!
A day in the life... Store Fit-Out Assistant
* Working on projects such as refits, relocations, new stores and other projects.
* Projects involve:
o Constructing/destructing racking and shelving
o Stocking shelves
o Building display stock and animal enclosures
o Ticketing shelves
o Cleaning
* Ability to work in a retail store if there are no projects on.
* The position is listed as casual, however during projects 5 days a week is required.
To be considered for the role you will be required to be...
* Physically fit - days filled with heavy lifting and shelf construction
* Flexibility and ability to work 5 days a week when required for projects
* Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and your team-mates
* Ability to travel for long periods (2-4 weeks at a time)
* Possible interstate travel
* Driving licence
* Forklift licence preferred but if not, willing to obtain (we will fund)
* Ability to learn merchandising standards (training provided on the job)
A day in the life... Sales Assistant
* Providing exceptional customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions
* Through the knowledge you gain, you will inspire and educate customers on the best care and products for their pets
* Complete memorable sales transactions, aiming to reach set store sales goals
* Work with your team mates to make sure the store looks its best at all the times, ensuring all the latest stock is on the shelves
* Be proactive in making sure you keep your knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services we provide
* Contribute to a fun, supportive culture instore where the team loves coming to work every day
* Strong safety mindset with commitment to create a culture of safety within your team

* A passion for animals and providing the best customer service
* Experience in a similar retail environment
* Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales target
* Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and your team-mates
* Physically fit, with ability to lift products up to 20kgs
* Flexibility and ability to work weekends and public holidays
