Combined with our vision and continued growth, Beca is currently seeking aPrincipal Environmental Plannerto play a strategic role in growing our planning capability in NSW to support our Energy and Water markets. The role will ideally be Sydney based. This role will be a project delivery and market facing role.Given your unique knowledge of environmental planning across the energy and water sectors, you will:Build on existing relationships and develop new ones with key clients (including power transmission, renewable generation, and water utilities).Use your technical and project delivery experience to grow our capability in this area.Our intention is to build a market leading planning team in Sydney; in the meantime, you will be supported by our high-performing and dynamic environmental planners in our wider business.About youTo be successful in this role you will be an experienced environmental planner, having worked in Energy, Water, or a related industry, with proven consulting experience. You are someone who embraces challenges, promotes innovation and leads with a mindset of continual improvement, as well as connecting the Beca network to bring the best of our business to our NSW clients and region. Being a technical leader and relationship builder, you have the capability to lead projects and project teams and:Initiate, manage, and develop strategic and operational relationships internally and externally to influence and coordinate people and skillsets to effect change to benefit our communities, people, and clients.Furthermore, due to the nature of the projects, it is a requirement that the successful individual will hold relevant tertiary qualifications and be a Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner (REAP). We have a no fuss 'can do' approach and we are looking for a savvy, innovative, and commercially minded professional.
