Job Title: Manager Housing Property Services
About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to provide leadership and management to the Housing Maintenance unit in Katherine. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality and culturally appropriate housing maintenance services to public and government employee housing tenants.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead the implementation and delivery of housing maintenance and related services, including analysis and review of client needs and contractual management matters.
* Identify staff development needs and training opportunities to ensure efficient and effective operational activities.
* Prepare briefs, reports, and submissions on housing and property maintenance programs.
* Establish and maintain partnerships with stakeholders to deliver effective housing maintenance services.
* Provide strategic advice to management and input into the development of housing operational programs, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
* Strong leadership skills with experience in staff management.
* Ability to undertake strategic planning and develop performance measures aligned with government policy.
* Highly developed written and verbal skills, including communication with diverse stakeholders.
* Knowledge of Northern Territory and Australian Government policy, including housing legislation and regulations.
* Understanding of Indigenous affairs and culture, with ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures.

Salary: $128,551 - $143,611
