Full timeThis role leads delivery of strategic and organisational initiatives within BOQ Group Retail Digital Bank ART (Agile Release Train) and supports the Groups digital banking ecosystem (which includes Bank of Queensland, Virgin Money Australia and ME Bank).You will be responsible for orchestrating the successful delivery of SAFe Epics overseeing discovery, planning and execution leveraging agile methodologies (SAFe preferred), strategic thinking and effective communication to navigate requirements, driving cross-functional teams to success by ensuring objectives are completed within scope, timeline, and budget whilst adhering to the Bank's high standards of quality and regulatory compliance.With support of the product owner, you will be responsible for driving multiple digital and technical initiatives incorporating a blend of capabilities spread across Project Management, Business Analytics and Organisation Change Management to ensure outcomes are met and benefits realised.Contribute to Program Increment planning, aligning with the vision of the digital bank and transformation roadmap. Support pre-PI planning ensuring prerequires are met and delivery plans furnished. Contribute to PI Planning including content presentations and collaborating with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to plan team sprints and manage cross-team/ART dependencies.Define and sequence activities to develop and control the delivery schedule.Lead the planning, execution, monitoring and successful delivery of SAFe epics in alignment with business objectives and strategic goals, validating and controlling scope.Providing oversight and support to IT Readiness and Business Implementation activities including ITOM, workstream governance, change management, business readiness.Operate as an escalation point for Scrum Masters experiencing challenges with delivery.Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies that could impact delivery success, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.Define quality metrics providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on progress, roadblocks, and opportunities.Coordination of partners involved in the delivery activities using delivery approach appropriate to the practice of implementation partners and required deliverables.At-times be directly responsible for delivery of strategic initiatives whilst supporting the broader delivery plan of the Digital Bank ART.Coach and mentor team members on agile practices, fostering their professional development and growth.About youYou have proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Senior Scrum Master, or Senior Project Manager, leading the delivery of complex projects and programs. Your background in Payment, Banking, and Financial services has equipped you with the necessary expertise to navigate these industries effectively. You are well-versed in both Agile methodologies, including SAFe Agile, and to a lesser extent, Waterfall Project Management Methodology.You possess strong coaching, consultation, and negotiation skills, which enable you to engage and influence both external and internal stakeholders, including senior management.
