Key Accountabilities
Your Key Accountabilities will include:
• Perform the role of CASA Form 4 Responsible Manager and manage the CAMO's compliance with CASR 1998, the Part 42 MOS and the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) to provide continuing airworthiness management services for all aircraft covered by the CAME.
• Manage and supervise the provision of maintenance planning activities to ensure all required maintenance is planned, scheduled, audited, completed and filed in the required timeframes.
• Develop, implement and manage a Continuing Airworthiness Records System to ensure all utilisation, modification and Airworthiness Directive (AD) compliance data is recorded and secured.
• Implement and manage processes to ensure all defects are rectified or legally deferred, and all maintenance and modifications are completed and certified correctly in the Continuing Airworthiness Records System and a valid Certificate of Release to Service is issued before flight.
• Manage, coordinate and maintain the Electronic Engineering and Maintenance Control Database including initial loads as part of aircraft acquisition and records preparation for aircraft divestment.
• Manage and maintain oversight of all Technical Data Assessments and ensure compliance with recording and filing.
• Undertake and manage Airworthiness Reviews and issue Airworthiness Review Certificates to ensure aircraft under the control of the CAMO remain airworthy.
• Manage and maintain oversight of the Technical Library and subscriptions to ensure all maintenance data and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) is current and available.
• Develop effective relationships with and provide high quality advice, support and services to internal and external stakeholders
Mandatory requirements:
• Ability to attain CASA Form 4 approval as a Responsible Manager (CASA Part 42).
Highly desirable:
• Be previously approved as a CASA approved Maintenance Controller and/or HAAMC.
• Hold or have held Responsible Manager (RM) approval in a CASA approved part 42 CAMO.
• Hold or have held Maintenance Program Approval Employee (MPAE) approval in a CASA approved part 42 CAMO or CASA CAR42M/R IOA.
• Hold or have held Airworthiness Review Engineer (ARE) approval in a CASA approved Part 42 CAMO or a CASA part 21 C of A IOA.
• Previous experience with computer-based maintenance control systems.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Desirable:
• Hold CASA Part 66 B1/B2 licences on either AW139 or King Air B360 aircraft.
• Experience with Gannet or similar electronic maintenance management tracking systems.
• Previous experience in the maintenance of technical records in a CASA regulated maintenance organisation.
Special Conditions
In compliance with CASA Drug and Alcohol Management Plan requirements, the preferred applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment testing and participate in the QGAir Drug and Alcohol Management Program.
