Part Time (3days) Compliance Associate Australian Independent Investment Manager – Property ARCC, KYC, AML Platinum Pacific Partners are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a leading Australian independent investment manager specialising within property. Their sector specialisations have grown over the last 20 years to include industrial and logistics, office, retail, social infrastructure and property lending sectors. About the role: Reporting to Head of Legal, we are looking for a part time compliance associate to take responsibility for: Quarterly Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee (ARCC) reporting and management of annual compliance calendar Preparation and lodgement for various statutory and compliance reports, including AML KYC/ CTF AUSTRAC reports Complete background and bankruptcy checks as per regulations Maintaining the compliance and breach registers, as well investigating and assessing the significance of each potential breach Monthly review of Safetrac training program (including on boarding of new team members and monitoring of business completion rate) Provide compliance support to the wider business as and when requested including risk reporting Management of FATCA/CR Management of annual risk review and monitoring of risk management program Coordination of risk reporting for assets and development sites Recommend process improvements where applicable The ideal candidate will bring: A relevant degree (Law, Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting) Previous experience in a compliance support capacity with proven understanding of regulatory frameworks An understanding of investment funds and managed investment schemes is desirable but not essential. However, good market knowledge of the financial services industry is key. The ability to quickly build effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders To succeed in this fast-paced environment you will be highly organised, action orientated and detail-focused.
