The role We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Planning Manager to join the Group Supply Chain team in Melbourne.
In this role you will oversee a team of Demand & Supply Planners to drive cost optimisation throughout forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment processes to meet the business demand, across all hospitality business units.
Additional Responsibilities: Initiate projects to maximise group purchase opportunities and reduce the overall inventory cost across the supply chain nationally.Continuously analyse data and business trends to identify opportunities for improving inventory management processes and tools.Work closely with suppliers and logistics providers to optimise the supply network and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery to Crown.Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures to minimise inventory carrying costs while maintaining service levels.About you
You'll bring the following:
Proven experience in a similar position within a large complex organisation.Hospitality & Food and Beverage knowledge is preferred.Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.Technical planning and forecasting skills for large quantities of product.Excellent business partnering skills including the ability to build strong relationships, manage suppliers' performance and support internal stakeholders.Additional InformationWhat you can expect from us On top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning.
