At Harwell, we provide an individually tailored service that ensures your needs are always the priority.The CompanyThis group of residential maintenance businesses has achieved remarkable growth and success since its inception.Operating across South-East Queensland, they are known for their quality of service, responsiveness, and commitment to customer care.With an established team structure, seasoned leadership, and a growing customer base, they are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join the team and support the next phase of growth.The RoleReporting directly into the Operations Manager, the Finance Manager will be responsible for the performance of the Finance team.Duties will include:Develop, manage, and oversee the group’s annual budget, ensuring alignment with organisational goals for each business.Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, providing detailed analysis of financial performance and variance reports.Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the business has the necessary liquidity to meet its financial obligations.Work closely with other department heads to provide financial insights and support for operational decisions and strategic initiatives.Identify and mitigate financial risks, including overseeing insurance coverage, credit risks, and financial liability exposure.Work closely with tax advisors to prepare and submit all necessary tax filings, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.The CandidateYou will have proven experience as a Finance Manager in a commercial environment and a skillset including:Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving financial improvements and resolving operational challenges.Experience leading and mentoring a finance team, with the ability to drive team performance and development.Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring the integrity of financial reports and records.Proficiency with financial management software (e.g., Xero) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.The PackageImmediate interview and start ending notice period.Morningside office location.Work across all three companies!Support from tight-knit, cohesive team.Create impact for a highly successful business with strong foundations in place and uncapped potential.Progression and growth as the company continues to evolve.
