Our sales team is expanding, and we are looking for key people to join our busy team. The Role The successful candidate will work across a variety of events, both via webinar and in person. This is a busy role that will give you the opportunity to indulge in your love for events and demonstrate your talent in operations and customer experience by ensuring that every event is flawlessly executed from beginning to end. Your responsibilities will be to assist in the day-to-day operations, both in the pre-planning stages and throughout the execution of the event. You’ll be accountable for: Assist in setting up events at various locations, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Singapore Event preparation including produce ordering, branding, packing, logistics, styling and set up Packing and preparing for events Working with the event team to identify and troubleshoot any logistical issues Monitor staff rostering of the logistics personnel Assist in the implementation of event systems, including enforcing procedures for equipment and inventory management, event logistics, etc. Managing office duties, responding to emails, scheduling, ordering supplies, and other administrative tasks. Essential Skills and Knowledge: Ideally a minimum of 1 years’ experience with a professional broad-spectrum knowledge in end-to-end event management. Candidates from a hospitality background will also be considered. Ideally a bachelor’s degree in Event Management or equitable level of professional experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with colleagues, clients, vendors, and stakeholders of all levels of management. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. A proactive, problem-solving attitude, with the ability to work independently and take initiative. Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and evenings, depending on event schedules.
