Overview
The main purpose of the role is to provide excellent customer service delivery by conducting verifications / background screening and reporting accurate results. Researchers will ensure a first-class customer and candidate experience through processing the checks. Other duties may also be assigned.

Ensure that duties are carried out professionally and in line with the priority to help candidates get hired.
· Quickly and effectively research and verify facts provided by candidates to ensure the screening process is completed in a timely manner.
· Ensure accurate processing of the background reports according to reporting guidelines and quality standards.
· Maintain in-depth working knowledge of all guidelines and procedures.
· Complete the processing of all assigned tasks as per schedules.
· Complete escalated/rejected requests requiring further investigation.
· Ensure accurate and prompt turnaround time on all reports.
· Report factual information provided by verifying sources accurately.
· Provide timely follow-up and follow through on all requests, reports, emails, and escalations.
· Communicate professionally with candidates, with tact and diplomacy, to obtain relevant information or to clarify details as quickly as possible.
· Ensure all means of communication are utilized to complete the background verification processing.
· Maintain adequate researching skills on every task with speed.
· Maintain a "Continuous Improvement" state of mind and helps to suggest changes.
· Be open to cross training to other functions outside of immediate scope of responsibility.
· Ensure all actions comply with all Data Protection legislations and company policies with integrity.
· Work as team to share the workload and deliver the team results.
· May assist with mentoring, training, and coaching of new team members.
· May assist in ad hoc projects as and when required.
· Adhere to the work as per the business hours and make all possible attempts to complete the verifications.
· Consistently acquire new or updated knowledge to become proficient in assigned work.
· Conduct qualitative attempts through phone calls, emails and vendors to complete the verifications within time and accurately.
Qualifications
Education:
1. Graduate in any stream
Experience:
2. 1+ years of voice or blended process experience (preferably BGV industry).
Knowlegde & Skills:
3. Professional written and oral communication skills (English) and to effectively communicate with candidates and customers.
4. Strong Analytical & typing skills.
5. Keen to learn attitude.
6. Ability to take ownership of problems and take proactive action.
7. Ability to multi-task & prioritize in fast paced environment.
8. Strong skills in online research, MS Office and email etiquettes.
9. Ability to review details quickly and methodically.
Confident with telephone communications, including probing for information whilst maintaining good professional relations.
