The Role Toll People are currently seeking an experienced MC linehaul driver for our client based in Port Kembla. Drivers will be expected to have a strong focus on safety & compliance and make deliveries in a safe and timely manner. This is an ongoing position with the opportunity to transfer into a permanent role. The route is Port Kembla to Holbrook NSW, changeover and return to Pheasants Nest or Port Kembla (approximately 900km trip). Shifts are Sunday to Thursday starting at 5pm. KM rates apply ($0.73c per KM) hourly rates for wait times. Experience driving B Doubles and linehaul is essential, coupling and uncoupling experience is also advantageous (but training can be provided). Key Responsibilities Delivery of steel products from Port Kembla NSW to Holbrook NSW (changeover/return) Carry out all duties within set time frames and following all instructions Ensure correct, secure and safe loading of vehicles Complete and supply mandatory run sheet information in the format required Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times Comply with all WHS regulations and driving hour legislation Skills & Experience MC licence and be able to supply an RTA printout Experience driving B Doubles and linehaul Coupling/uncoupling experience (desirable but not essential) BFM accreditation (desirable but not essential) Good understanding of NHVAS and COR Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and good numeracy skills Previous steel-handling experience is advantageous, but not essential About Toll People Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
