ABOUT THE ROLE Due to a recent internal promotion we have a new opportunity for a Procurement Officer in either of our Brisbane or Adelaide offices. As Procurement Officer, you will be required to undertake with contract management activities to those allocated via category, and customer requirements. In addition, you will assist your team members as required with their procurement activities across customers, including market analysis, preparing documentation for RF(x) and evaluations, and customer reports. You will establish and manage strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including customer and business owners. You will contribute to tangible benefits to Mutual Marketplace’s performance and productivity through expedient delivery of customer requirements and perpetual excellence in communication. As a team member, you will contribute to the delivery of Mutual Marketplace services to our customers. RESPONSIBILITIES Your working week will be busy and diverse, including but not limited to the following core responsibilities: Participate in achieving cost savings, improved efficiencies and risk mitigation in procurement process activities and produce tangible benefits to our customers. Maintain contract details on MM’s supplied procurement management software. Act as a representative for MM with both internal and external stakeholders and suppliers. Actively communicate to all stakeholders with respect to procurement contract data. Ensure contract amendments are focused on delivering commercially agreeable outcomes for all parties. Maintain contract details including Supplier records, identified risks and mitigation in MM’s contract management system. Build strong working relationships and a shared understanding with Mutual Marketplace customers business owners, providing guidance on procurement activities, and provide support to the Procurement team. Mitigate MM and Customer risks using best practice procurement processes and policies. Recognise and recommend uplifts to policies and procedures where appropriate. WHY JOIN MUTUAL MARKETPLACE?
