We do more than collect the bin from your street we also; convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a JJ’s Trade Qualified HCV Mechanic, you will work on our variety of fleet vehicles in our Mackay depot.
You will report to the Workshop Manager and will be conducting all facets of preventative maintenance and repair of heavy rigid vehicles including brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics, and fabrication.
We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.
You will enjoy family friendly hours – no more DIDO or FIFO, as well as great pay rates - particularly for those interested in overtime or additional work on weekends! We will work with you to ensure your Work/Life Balance
Applications from 3rd or 4th year HV Apprentices also encouraged
ABOUT YOU
* Trade qualification as an HCV (Heavy Commercial Vehicle) Mechanic
* Experience in heavy vehicle trucks & trailer / fleet maintenance
* Commitment to safety and high quality workmanship
* Ability to work independently, unsupervised and as part of a team
* Possession of a current HR and forklift licence - preferred but not essential
* Ability to learn new skills
* Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
