Your new role As part of the Civil Construction crews, you will be at the forefront of transforming the city's infrastructure working on projects such as new storm water areas, footbridges, roadworks, roundabouts and new walkways across the Gold Coast. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Laying of storm water drainage including pipelines, utility holes, gully pits and outlet structures Pavement and kerb installation including set up, levelling and finishing Concrete installation of footpaths, driveways, bus stops and bikeways including boxing up, installing and finishing and grading/levelling Placing and compacting asphalt for associated works Assisting with site clean up to ensure a tidy and efficient workplace Heavy lifting and manual handling What you will need to succeed As an experienced Civil Labourer, you will bring your expertise in civil works, concreting, and pipe laying, with a particular focus on storm water pipes. Your commitment to safety standards and quality-assured work will be paramount. To excel in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: Construction White Card (mandatory) At least 12 months of proven experience in civil works, concreting, asphalting and pipelaying A strong commitment to adhering to safety standards Ability to work effectively in a team environment An up-to-date CV detailing your industry experience, along with two recent references to support your application What you will get in return This is a Monday to Friday role offering full-time hours and the opportunity for overtime.
