Disability Support Worker
About the Role
This Supported Independent Living (SIL) opportunity is supporting a male client with disability in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living assistance.
Responsibilities
* Work flexibly on a 24/7 roster
* Ability to work sleepover is essential
* Shifts primarily fall between Monday to Friday, weekend availability may be required
* Community access and transportation assistance
* Support client in their day-to-day life by empowering them to find their strengths and build their capacity to live independently
Requirements
* An unrestricted New South Wales driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle is required
* Committed to work flexible work hours across the week, including public holidays
* Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop
* A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011
Pay Information
Pay rates starting from $41.76 (casual) as per the SCHADS Award
