YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and influence Brenntag’s 3PL providers across Australia and NewZealand maintaining effective inbound delivery, and outsourced distribution.
Assist in the establishment of the strategicdirection of Warehousing, Distribution and Logistics, managing both internaland external relationships and providing day-to-day guidance and support tocreate a high-performing, customer centric environment
1. In collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager ANZ and Supply Chain leadership team, assist in the development of the ANZ Warehousing, Distribution and Logistics strategy, including:
project analysisfinancial requirementsRegulatory and commercial assessmentsProductivity improvement analysis and executionDevelopment in areas such as technology use, bulk material handling, mixing, and blending, specialised logistics managementStorage optimsation between own and 3PL warehouse network
2. Oversee 3PL relationships including contract accountability,
3. Manage the development of Warehousing & Logistics processes to ensure optimal commercial excellence
4. Ensure all Brenntag warehousing, clearance and logistics parties are aware of and can meet Brenntag’s Operational and QSHE standards
5. Own and manage all relevant processes to ensure effective warehouse distribution management - improve all relevant operating processes, adhere to standard requirements, and evaluate cost efficient operating tools
6. Optimise order cycle and flow of product, meet demand plans and be the primary interface between Brenntag and 3PL for day to day and tactical planning
7. Partnerwith Customer Service to develop collaborative customer centric solutions thatoptimise order execute and logistics activities
8. Working closely with the AdBlue logistics team, assist in optimising and streamlining the distribution process, introduction of new customers, runs, suppliers and processes in the AdBlue distribution network
9. Manage major Warehousing, Distribution and Logistics projects in line with industry regulatory requirements, budgeting, cost benefit and feasibility analysis
10. Oversee the management and development of the ANZ Warehousing, Distribution and Logistics functions to produce increased levels of productivity and efficiency, streamlined practices and reduced operating costs
11. Prepare monthly Warehousing and Logistics report
12. Prepare and present Warehouse, Distribution and Logistics reports to Supply Chain Teams e.g.: DIFOT, freight & warehouse costs, variances to estimates
13. Manage all CAPEX projects from requirement gathering to approval request writing and implementation, ensuring projects are planned and executed with due consideration to quality, costs, timing, and QSHE/ Regulatory requirements
14. Manage acquisitions, utilisations, and disposals of assets (land, buildings, machinery, equipment, vehicles, software etc.) within the Warehousing and Logistics function to balance service levels with cost efficiencies, and capital investments with internal and external operating expenses
YOUR PROFILE
15. Minimum 5 + years’ experience managing 3PL Warehouse, Distribution and Logistics functions on a national / trans-tasman scale
16. Working knowledge and experience in distribution and/or logistics / freight forwarding essential
17. Evidenced ability to lead change, improve engagement and deliver results
18. Working knowledge and experience in the chemical industry advantageous
19. Workingknowledge and experience of reputable ERP systems including in-depthunderstanding of purchasing/planning/logistics and warehousing systems
