ZA ZA TA is a place where worlds and cultures collide amongst a sprawling, colonial backdrop and buzzing open kitchen focused on ethical eating and conscious cuisine. Executive Chef Michael Jackson (ex-NuNu Restaurant – Palm Cove) and the team are bringing the soulful vibe of Tel Aviv, a blend of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine, with a distinctly modern twist to centuries-old flavours. Our Kitchen is spearheaded by our Executive Chef Michael Jackson (ex-NuNu Restaurant – Palm Cove).
The Gig
We are looking for a savvy F&B Supervisor to join our incredible Hotel. The spaces are like no other, with a fantastic team to supervise. This is a leadership role that will give room and scope to grow and have significant input into the evolution of our hotel brand in Australia. In this role, you will be assisting in running the show during dinner service! This a Part-time role and will require flexibility within availability. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
* Lead the team from the front and represent not only the venue but the Ovolo Brand
* Training of new employees to ensure efficiency in everything your team does
* Coordinating employee schedules, including shift changes and absences
* Analyse all guest requirements and prepare plans to resolve guest related issues and ensure they walk out satisfied
* Coordinate with various departments and ensure staff set up and supply remain according to departmental standards
* Prepare documents and maintain adherence to departmental standards
* Inspect presentation of everything served to guests- both food and beverage
About you
