About the Role:
Our state of the art workshop is expanding and now includes two brand new truck booths and sand blaster. Becoming a member of a supportive team and dynamic, the Automotive Spray Painter will be responsible for the preparation and spray painting of truck cabs, buses & truck bodies.
* Preparing vehicle surfaces for spraying using pin wielding, blocking, sanding, masking and cleaning techniques
* Mixing and applying paint products to vehicles using spray painting equipment
* Ensuring a high-quality finish by carefully inspecting and correcting any imperfections
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area to support efficient and safe operations
* Collaborating with the wider team to meet production targets and customer expectations
* Following all health, safety and environmental procedures to protect yourself and others
About you:
* Trade Qualification Automotive Spray Painter or equivalent or relevant experience (essential);
* 2+ years' experience (essential);
* Drivers Licence (essential);
* Sound time management and interpersonal skills
* Proven experience as an Automotive Spray Painter, with a strong understanding of painting techniques and equipment
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to achieve a high-quality finish on every job
* Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve any issues that arise during the spraying process
* A commitment to workplace health and safety, with the ability to follow all relevant procedures
* A positive, team-oriented attitude and the willingness to collaborate with colleagues
