Secure Parking is looking for a Senior Business Analyst that can be the bridge between business needs and technology solutions.
You will be tasked to collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and to design and develop solutions whilst working closely with the development team. You'll have a keen eye for detail, and ensuring all requirements are documented. You'll also have a deep understanding of technical concepts and development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) to solve business problems, and certifications such as IIBA, CBAP, or PMP.
This role will also take on project management responsibilities for smaller projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements.
2. Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
3. Drill down into each request to accurately define the underlying problem.
4. Work closely with the development team to design and develop effective, quality, and functional solutions.
5. Provide functional and technical guidance and support during the development lifecycle.
6. Initiate, plan, develop, monitor, and control projects and enhancements.
7. Create comprehensive documentation for business processes, requirements, workflows and solutions.
8. Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders.
9. Analyse existing systems and processes whilst staying up to date with industry trends.
10. Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
11. Ensure stakeholder alignment and buy-in for proposed solutions and projects.
12. Work closely with project managers and change managers to ensure alignment and successful implementation of projects.
Our ideal candidate requires:
13. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
14. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong understanding of both functional and technical aspects.
15. Proven experience in a development role, with hands-on coding and technical design skills.
16. Preferably with experience in a project management role.
17. Professional certifications such as IIBA, CBAP or PMP.
18. Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
19. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
20. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
21. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
22. Experience with project management tools and techniques.
23. Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and technology advancements
