This means we value respect, safety, diversity, and inclusion.In this hands-on role, you will lead the project team, demonstrating strong people and project management skills to ensure the effective delivery of road infrastructure projects and other critical road construction activities. With your problem-solving, influencing, and negotiation skills, you will build strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders, effectively addressing day-to-day operational challenges.As a leader committed to safety, you will promote a zero-harm work environment, contributing to a positive workplace culture and ensuring all activities are conducted safely and in alignment with relevant standards, policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements.Accountabilities Include:Use technical knowledge and leadership to plan and co-ordinate all resources and works necessary to ensure multiple and/or complex projects achieve scope, time, quality, cost and other targets, utilising project management methodologies, corporate systems and tools to manage and report on performance.Manage and maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders and RoadTek Resource Managers on work availability, plant programming and prioritising requirements via the Senior Project Manager.Plan, allocate, supervise, and coordinate work activities of team members within multiple and/or complex projects, including provision of employee performance and behaviour management principles and approaches.Manage the preparation of tenders and estimates through the provision of expert advice into construction and maintenance processes, production rates, and local information.Regularly measure completed works to monitor budget performance and submit progress payment claims at agreed intervals for multiple and/or complex projects.Mandatory Qualifications And Conditions:Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.You may be required to travel to other locations within Queensland to undertake activities for varying periods of time.
