As an APS 6 in Enterprise Committees, you will be provided with the unique opportunity to provide support to decision-making forums and Defence’s most senior leaders. You will be a part of a team that supports senior leaders, manages outcomes from committees, and supports strategic direction for the operation of key senior committees. You will supervise staff and be responsible for reviewing the quality of work undertaken by your team.
As an APS6 in Enterprise Accountabilities and Governance, you will be part of a team that is accountable for the delivery of detailed and technical policy advice in relation to complex issues around compliance with legislation and administrative policy arrangements. About our TeamThe Enterprise Accountabilities and Governance Directorate establishes and manages a number of enterprise level governance frameworks. These include: Accountability and Administrative Policy arrangements, the How Defence Works document, Defence Instructions, the Strategic Accountabilities Table and Defence-wide administrative policy guidance and senior committee evaluation.
Enterprise Committees is a dynamic, high performing team who have the privilege of working directly with the Department of Defence’s ‘Top 4’ leaders – the Secretary of Defence, the Chief of the Defence Force, The Associate Secretary of Defence and the Vice Chief of the Defence Force. The team enables critical decision making that occurs through the Defence committee meeting process
