About the role: Based in Gowrie Park, you will assist the Remote Monitoring team with the day-to-day collection of hydrological, meteorological, environmental, and asset monitoring data services to Hydro Tasmania.
This is an entry-level opportunity for a motivated person who loves working outdoors to gain valuable work experience in Hydrography whilst undertaking formal training with the Australian Hydrographers Association.
About You: You will be committed to Hydro Tasmania's vision of 'No Harm to anyone, at any time'.
Team work is something you're passionate about and you've demonstrated this through your work experience, school studies and extra-curricular activities.
You have a love of the outdoors and a willingness to travel to remote sites throughout the state for extended periods of time.
You're confident in your computer skills, particularly the Microsoft Office suite.
Completion of High School Certificate (Year 10 or higher) and current manual driver's licence or working towards.
