Currently our Finance Department has a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced Payroll Professional to join us in a permanent & full-time capacity at our Subiaco Head Office. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this busy role is responsible for the administration of Northern Star employees' personnel payroll records, ensuring that the data is accurate & current, and that it complies with all statutory reporting requirements, as well as the Company's Quality Systems. Key responsibilities include: Establishing quality relationships within our payroll team. Working as a team to manage the completion of our fortnightly pay runs. Working with our Human Resources Department to ensure all employee transactions (new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, etc.) are administered in a professional and timely manner. Consistently managing the administration of payroll files. Completing end of month functions and reporting. Responding to employee questions as and when required. Facilitating various payroll reconciliations and reports. Collaboratively working with multiple sites, and teams and establishing relationships across the business. Calculation and management of superannuation contributions, Income Protection and Workers Compensation and Parental Leave payments. Working with our systems teams to continually test and improve our payroll. To succeed in this role? You are outcomes focused, with extensive experience working as part of a large & busy payroll function, and possess a genuine passion for providing high-level customer service across your remit. The following will also see you set for success in this role: Experience in a similar role, within a large organisation, ideally within the Mining or Resources Industry. A solid working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors system. Possess a high level of computer literacy across the MS Office Suite, with an intermediate to advanced level working with Excel. Excellent communication & people skills, with the ability to engage, influence & build strong, functional relationships across all levels of the business. Customer-service focused & solutions orientated, you can think strategically & outside the box to achieve successful outcomes. Flexible & adaptable to changing priorities, you are extremely well organised, with strong time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Innovative in thought, with an agile mindset, you possess strong analytical & problem-solving skills and thrive working in a busy & dynamic environment. Comfortable using your initiative, and working without constant direction, you have an excellent attention to detail and consistently deliver high-quality & accurate work.
