To continue our success, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Assistant Brand Manager for our Doritos portfolio. This role will support with the development, management and implementation all aspects of the marketing mix including innovation, activation and communications to deliver annual brand targets.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
* Product Innovation: Develop and implement product and packaging innovations to enhance consumer growth, aligning with Doritos' market demands and portfolio strategy.
* Cross-Functional Engagement: Collaborate effectively with critical functions (Sales, Category, R&D, Operations, Finance) within PepsiCo Australia to ensure cohesive planning and execution.
* NPD and Activation Execution: Contribute to the creative development and implementation of new product development (NPD) and above-the-line (ATL) marketing plans.
* Performance Measurement: Analyse monthly performance using internal dashboards and external data sources to identify key drivers and challenges within the product portfolio.
* Content Collation: Assist in gathering materials for internal and external brand presentations, including Go-to-Market documents for sales and category teams
* Budget Management: Oversee the budget process, including purchase orders, invoicing, compliance, and monthly forecasting.
* Brand Engagement: Foster internal enthusiasm for brands through events, point-of-sale (POS) activities, and cross-functional engagement.
* Agency Management: Manage relationships with key agencies (sampling, social media, packaging, research, etc.) to ensure timely delivery and alignment with brand growth strategies.
Qualifications
About you:
* Degree qualified (Commerce - Marketing preferred)
* Min 18 months experience in marketing, sales or category management in FMCG (preferably with experience working with Woolworths/Coles)
* Demonstrated strong leadership and organisational skills to effectively manage and execute projects
* Good interpersonal skills with experience in developing strong cross-functional relationships
* Technically proficient in data analysis with ability to critically interpret data and translate into useful insights
* Financial acumen and basic P&L understanding
* Self-starter with problem-solving mindset
* Strong communication skills (both oral and written) – being clear, convincing and constructive
* Creativity to proactively identify alternative approaches and solutions
* Ability to be highly organised yet highly adaptable to changing circumstances
