Permanent, full time Sydney Location Flexible work arrangements How will I help? This role is part of the Finance Services team in the Corporate & Customer Services Division. Working with a group of professionals, this role is accountable for being a trusted adviser to the Property, Procurement, & Protective Services (PPP) business and its stakeholders, providing financial advice, planning, forecasting, and solutions to assist the business in achieving its strategy and business priorities. The focus of the role will be supporting the Sydney 2030+ property strategy. You will support the CFO and Head of Finance Customer & Corporate Services to provide business partnering, financial analysis, and strategic advice to PPP GM and key leaders. The Director role is a strategic leadership role responsible for operationalizing the strategy related to financial planning, forecasting, and management accounting activities. This position carries accountability for leveraging expert knowledge to drive financial performance, optimize processes, and provide strategic insights. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and finance teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand financial goals, objectives, and challenges. Present financial information, insights, and strategic recommendations in a clear and concise manner to facilitate decision-making for senior leaders. Lead effective business analysis and advice to the PPP leaders and other internal stakeholders to support achievement of expense targets & forecasts. Deep understanding and knowledge relating to accounting standards and practices for Property, including leasing, development, and funding. Lead the preparation, analysis, and presentation of accurate and timely financial scenarios to assist in decision making in relation to the Sydney 2030+ property strategy. Lead the financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario analysis support focused on value protection. Coaching, mentoring, facilitating team meetings, distributing, coordinating, and prioritizing work for team members of the broader Finance Services business unit to meet internal and external deadlines. What do I need? 10+ years' experience in financial management and the financial services industry. Professional accounting qualification completed - ACA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent. Experience in and understanding of Property finance including AASB16, development funding options, and taxation impacts. Ability to effectively influence, negotiate, and manage expectations at a senior management level. High competency in executive-level presentation and reporting. Advanced understanding of all technical finance & accounting competencies. Highly developed analytical skills and critical thinking capability. Strong stakeholder management.
