Quality, Compliance, Governance and Assets Manager HRM Contracting and consulting – Maroochydore QLD Our Client, Coast2Bay Housing Group is a dynamic award-winning community housing provider managing over 1000 community and affordable housing tenancies across the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay regions with offices located in Maroochydore, Nambour and Caboolture. This 12-month contract - fulltime role will be based out of the Maroochydore office. Coast2Bay currently has an exciting 12-month contract - Fulltime role available for an experienced Quality, Compliance, Governance and Assets Manager. The Quality, Compliance, Governance and Assets Manager is required to work co-operatively with the Coast2Bay Housing Group Team to ensure effective operation of the service in accordance with the policies and procedures of the organisation. Ideally, you are an experienced leader with a strong background in assets and project management. Specific Responsibilities: Audit preparation and submissions. Contributing to the development and/or review of policies, procedures and services and managing the compliance of these policies and procedures. Compliance with systems, processes and team training regarding quality control and legislation/regulatory updates. Internal auditing of systems and processes to ensure compliance across HR, Policies and Procedures, Insurances, documentation, etc. Board documentation, preparation, attendance and governance. Meeting management and compliance including agenda development, minute taking, and action lists are managed. Monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting including balanced scorecard, DOH reporting, SAMP reporting and other reporting as required. Management and coordination of Body Corporate correspondence. Monitoring expenditure regarding Coast2Bay owned assets. Monthly reporting on arrears including rent and repairs arrears. Management of Head Leases including new head leases, renewals of head leases and maintaining compliance of head leases including insurance documentation and timeframes for renewals are adhered to. Provide team supervision to Assets, Procurement and Compliance team members. Assist the Housing Services Senior Managers in establishing training and skills development for team members. Assist in ensuring effective WHS issues are identified and managed in accordance with C2B policies and procedures. Management of policies and procedures and compliance of documentation. Assist in review of effectiveness and efficiency of the Quality, Compliance, Governance and Assets team. Development and management of procurement processes in conjunction with the Procurement Officer including supplier review, negotiation of new suppliers, development of pricing schedules, tender processes, and contract management. In conjunction with the Assets and Procurement team, manage contractor negotiations, supplier communication and for all preferred suppliers. Provide reporting and oversight of outstanding maintenance issues, delays with vacant maintenance and any outstanding maintenance or supplier concerns. Maintain liaison with Department of Housing (DOH) officers as required. Ensure timely lodgment of reporting. Skills and Experience: A Tertiary Qualification is desirable or substantial industry experience. A minimum 5 years' experience working in tenancy/social housing or other human services or property management related field. High level conflict management and dispute resolution skills. Be self-motivated and able to manage your own workload. Extensive leadership skills. A demonstrated commitment to work within a person-centred social justice framework.
