Description
1. Provide on the ground injury management support to associates and employees through attending doctor appointments, hospital appointments and other injury monitoring appointments
2. Managing and developing tailored return to work plans for suitable duties where required and coordinating the provision of suitable duties
3. Ensure the most proactive approach to injury management and return to work is taken to minimise lost time injuries and reduce the severity and duration of a claim.
4. Work with the insurer to minimise claim costs wherever possible.
5. Accurate calculations and reconciliation of weekly benefits due.
6. Provide injury management and return to work support in conjunction with Adecco's customers.
7. Work with customers to ensure injured workers are provided with suitable duties on customer sites whenever possible.
8. Responsible for driving stakeholder compliance with the Adecco Group's RTW and injury management programs.
9. Keep up to date with current practices in injury management through monitoring legislative changes, standards and codes of practice and ensure compliance within the Group.
Profile
10. RTW coordination certificate is essential
11. Relevant industry certification or higher (eg Cert IV in personal injury Management, Cert IV in WHS) is essential
12. Minimum 1 year experience in Injury Management including return to work and claim management
13. Expert knowledge of SA Workers Compensation and Injury Management legislation/guidelines
14. Allied health degree (occupational therapy, rehabilitation counselling, exercise physiology, nursing) is desirable
15. State based self-insurance experience is desirable
16. High level of interpersonal, empathy and communication skills with strong attention to detail
17. High level organisation, prioritisation and time management skills
18. Strong negotiation, influencing & diplomatic skills as well as solution driven
