You will also play a key role in leading and developing the payroll team, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Lead the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employeesEnsure compliance with statutory obligations, including PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, and Enterprise Agreement (EA) requirementsOversee day-to-day payroll operations, including task allocation, review of work, and system supportMaintain governance and internal controls to ensure payroll processes are compliant and effectiveCollaborate with Finance, IT, and P&C teams to ensure smooth payroll operations and reportingAuthorise payroll variance reports and oversee the EFT processManage payroll system upgrades, testing, and implementationAdminister end-of-year payroll processes and reportingWork with auditors to ensure accurate payroll cost accountingStreamline payroll processes to enhance efficiency and reduce administrative burdenAddress payroll-related queries in a timely and professional mannerImplement effective performance management and conflict resolution strategiesAbout YouWe're looking for a skilled Payroll Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for accuracy and compliance.
