It also involves working with student needs either in a one on one, small group or whole class situation.Please note that this is a fixed term (5 days per week) parental leave cover position commencing in Term 1 2025 until 14/10/2025. In this fixed term, part-time role, successful applicants should be able to confidently:Identify and trial alternative learning strategies and methods of delivery that suit the educational needs of identified students.Demonstrate ability to create or use a range of educational resources to provide identified students with a variety of learning experiences which meet the needs of students.Report on student progress as and when required.Deliver learning or educational assessments as required.Design and deliver components of the vocational or social program as determined by the Head of Campus.Act in a sensitive manner to the students' needs upholding a non-violence, no harassment policy.Ensure that every student is given a fair chance and choice in all opportunities.Maintain client & staff confidentiality, while following appropriate procedures for notifying other staff where required by Atwea College Policy or legislation.Participate in and contribute to the activities, school excursions and fundraising activities of the school.Attend meetings and training as required.About You You already live by the values of Inclusion, Integrity and Innovation.Reliable and accountable.Possesses and continually updates requisite knowledge.Consistently presents new ideas, invested in improvement.Aims to support and educate self and others.Agile and adaptive to change.Convivial, actively infuses positivity into work, encouraging, and participates.Provides and accepts constructive and/or positive feedback.Extends grace, tolerance and diplomacy through communication.Aims to remove barriers and engage others.
