About the role
ADSSI is going through a phase of expansion and growth and is seeking an experienced Director of Business Services to join our senior management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and improving a range of corporate functions, as well as streamlining and integrating systems and processes across the ADSSI group. The Director of Business Services reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
As a key member of the senior management team, the role works closely with the CEO, COO and broader management team, overseeing the People & Culture, Quality & Compliance, Marketing & Communications, and WHS and Risk functions, ensuring that ADSSI's practices comply with relevant legislation, standards, and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibility Areas include (but are not limited to):
Strategic Leadership
* Participate in the development and implementation of the strategic direction.
* Lead business service managers in the formulation and conversion of strategic plans.
* Examine industry and labour market trends/developments and make recommendations accordingly.
* Establish and lead assigned strategic project teams.
* Provide recommendations to the CEO for appropriate structure and staffing levels.
Operational Excellence
* Oversee system and process improvements and innovation.
* Oversee the systems for monitoring, managing, and maintaining documentation.
* Ensure financial resources are allocated efficiently.
Reporting and Communication
* Provide high-level reports to the CEO and Board.
* Lead Cultural Development and Legislative and Standard Compliance.
* Actively develop and promote the desired organizational culture.
* Ensure staff operations are compliant with relevant policies and procedures.
* Promote a culture that values a safe and healthy workplace.
Relationship Management
* Ensure effective and mutually beneficial relationships with relevant stakeholders are developed and maintained.
About you
To excel in this role, you must be able to demonstrate high-level leadership experience and management competence in corporate functional areas (including human resources, marketing and communications, quality and compliance, and WHS & risk), plus have a tertiary (preferably degree) level qualification in a business-related discipline. * Capacity to interpret and work within relevant funding agreements, policy guidelines, accreditation standards, and the legislative framework.
* High-level proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
* Ability to apply project management methodology and critical thinking techniques to set priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high levels of quality and confidentiality.
