St Joseph’s Family Services (SJFS) is a highly professional, child and family-focused organisation offering innovative, inclusive and responsive early education and care services to the Port Macquarie Hastings community. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be an integral part of our team contributing to providing a safe, enriching and caring environment in our centres for children and their families.
When you join us, you know you are making a difference to the lives of the people we care for and their families.
St Joseph’s Family Services (SJFS) is a part of St Agnes’ Catholic Parish, a Catholic community located in beautiful Port Macquarie on the mid-north coast of NSW, Australia. Since the first St Agnes’ Catholic Church was built in 1878, the Parish has played an essential role in caring for, guiding and growing, the local community.
As a part of the Parish, SJFS receives wonderful support and resources from the wider Parish business structures, which adds to our enjoyable and supportive work environments.
We are fortunate to have three centres who collaborate and share resources and support each other in our valuable work with children and families.
ABOUT THE ROLE
SJFS are seeking Certificate III or Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educators or educators working towards their Diploma to join our teams at either of our Long Day Care centres.
As with all our SJFS Educators, you could be called to work across all of our three centres; St Agnes’ Early Education Centre, Joey’s House Early Education Centre and St Joseph’s Preschool and Long Day Care, adding to the skills base of our organisation, however primarily being based in one centre. We encourage our teams to work collaboratively as ‘One Body’ supporting each other when needed and sharing our skills and talents with each other.
All three centres have a long and trusted history in providing childcare and preschool education services to the Port Macquarie Hastings area. Joining an established and supportive team, you will have the flexibility to work various shifts over the weekdays from 7:00 AM – 17:40 PM.
At SJFS our team of educators are valued contributors to providing a safe, enriching and caring learning environment for children and their families. We work collaboratively to create stimulating, educational and inclusive environments where children love to come to learn through play and educators equally enjoy their partnerships with colleagues, children and families. Educators also enjoy many and varied professional development opportunities working with SJFS.
