The primary purpose of this role is to manage strategic retail partnerships, activations, in-store excellence and to expertly deliver strong retail relationships for TaylorMade Golf Australia.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
* Driving the development of retail strategy and business plans with partners
* Activating and amplifying our brand across all retail outlets, managing all tasks from approving invoices, signing contracts, product launches, activating campaigns, marketing materials, approving assets and ongoing optimisation
* Managing all trade marketing opportunities and ensuring our strategy is being implemented and further developing relationships with our customers
* Maintaining and building relationships with retail partners to develop an understanding of their needs and provide solutions to effectively promote TaylorMade Golf brand in store and online
* Supporting Sales team on opportunities and working with Sales Reps to develop account plans and activations to implement with their customers
* Identifying and implementing future opportunities and business prospects
* Maintaining successful and first class stakeholder relationships
* Developing and driving event-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for Sales Representatives to follow up
* Collating a calendar of instore promotions and POS from across the organization (including global marketing team) and working with retail partner marketing calendars
* Analyzing and reviewing retail performance, recommending ideas and solutions to greater improve future instore experiences
* Delivering on objectives through meticulous preparation, organization and communication
* Ensuring all agreements are sighted and approved by global legal team prior to signing
* Developing and implementing all retail contracts for instore display
* Leveraging existing marketing relations to grow the communication side of the business, working alongside the Product & Marketing Manager
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
* Ability to liaise and effectively communicate with retail suppliers, contractors and stakeholders to deliver seamless instore presentations – as well as digital, email and social media marketing experience to bring activity sets to life online
* Ability to provide exceptional customer service to a diverse range of stakeholders
* Comprehensive understanding of retail activations and logistical co-ordination
* Effective networker, negotiator and collaborator
* Experience in working with multiple stakeholders
* Demonstrated knowledge of the retail landscape and understanding of advertising and marketing principles
* Proven superior project management skills, with well-developed analytical and decision-making skills and strong attention to detail
* Previous budget management experience with the ability to manage and communicate allocated budgets effectively to key stakeholders and ensure optimum results
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to customize style relative to different audiences
* Commercial acumen and demonstrated record of successful sales
* Ability to think creatively and contribute strong ideas to leverage partnerships
* Strong organizational skills, including project management and experience dealing with multiple stakeholders
Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:
* Demonstrated experience (5 years +) in a similar marketing or trade marketing role
* Tertiary Qualification in a related field would be advantageous
* Demonstrated track record in successfully delivering retail instore activation in a corporate environment
* Previous brand marketing experience
* Marketing professional who understands to balance brand equity/building a brand and commercial relevance/interest of channels
* Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite and aptitude to learn new systems
* Must have golf knowledge to include low-level technical understanding.
