Job Title: Account Manager
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Melbourne.
About the Role:
The Account Manager is responsible for maximising revenue potential by meeting and exceeding revenue goals through providing innovative multi-platform advertising solutions to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering exceptional customer service by tailoring presentations to client-specific needs and pro-actively approaching revenue growth.
* Proactively prospecting for new clients and business opportunities.
* Consistently achieving and exceeding sales and market share targets within the allocated portfolio of Agency clients.
* Providing accurate and timely forecasts of achievement to budgets and goals.
* Pro-actively identifying clients' marketing challenges and working with internal resources to provide strategic solutions.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external clients.
* Continually developing knowledge and expertise of the Paramount ecosystem, including marketing expertise, business knowledge, researching tools and techniques, and the competitive environment.
* Managing priorities and activities effectively.
* Guiding and mentoring the Account Executive in your team.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in B2B selling, including new business development and ability to show proven results.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, high levels of emotional intelligence.
* Experience determining client's needs and designing tailored solutions.
* Strong negotiation skills and ability to ensure value is maximised for both clients and the business.
* Excellent presentation skills, ability to engage and influence target audience.
* Strong drive and ambition, capable of working autonomously and managing time effectively.
* Ability to foster strong relationships and hold a great reputation in market.
* A genuine interest in media sales and working in a high performing team.
* Great computer skills and ability to learn new media sales systems quickly.
Preferred But Not Essential:
* Previous media or advertising industry experience.
* Exposure to IBMS and/or Salesforce systems.
