The opportunity: We are seeking a proactive and 'advisory-oriented' Program Manager to join our team in the Property and Social Infrastructure sector. With clients spanning both public and private sectors and a diverse portfolio of challenging and fulfilling projects, there are ample opportunities for professional growth within The APP Group.This PM role involves close collaboration with a local government client on a substantial program of social infrastructure projects designed to deliver significant value to the broader community. The primary focus lies in adeptly navigating the intricacies of government stakeholders, grants administration, program management, change management and governance. Reporting into Program Director, oversee the entire program lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution from conceptualisation through operational planning, readiness, and eventual commissioning and completion. Administer program governance frameworks. Cultivate and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including local executives, council officers members, authorities, community leaders, contractors and suppliers. Administer contracts for program level consultants and manage the deliverables of project managers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, effective communication, and successful project objectives. Manage relationships and reporting to a state government grant authority and manage the grant reporting and acquittals process. Coordinate with council officers, communications experts and other stakeholders to deliver associated operational change initiatives related to the management and operations of the future facilities being delivered in this program. About You: Hold a degree in Development Management, Project Management, Property Economics, Architecture, Planning, Engineering, or a related field. Possess a minimum of four years' experience managing project programs within local or federal government settings, such as capital works and/or grant programs. Demonstrate a solid grasp of the intricacies involved in managing projects and stakeholders within Local or State Government. Exhibit excellent written communication skills for authoring council reports, memos, and formal correspondences. Showcase emerging leadership skills, inspiring teams and multiple consultants to deliver exceptional results across a diverse portfolio of projects. Display self-initiative, high motivation, and a drive for continual learning, growth, and impactful contributions as an esteemed member of our team.
