Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.The Finance Services Branch provides accounts payable, accounts receivable, maintenance of the Department’s asset registers, credit card management, lease administration, debt recovery, general ledger and taxation services.The RoleSuitable applicants will monitor financial transactions in the finance and accounting system and reconcile as required, including accounting payable, accounts receivable and vendor maintenance. They will accurately process and record accounting transactions in the finance system in accordance with statutory requirements and Department policies and procedures.Accounts Processing Officers assist with the maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, system controls and accountability mechanisms to ensure best practice.
