New Care Services are looking for capable and reliable Community Nurses to work with a non-verbal client to assist with activities of daily living.
Must be quick to learn and have a sense of humour.
Preferable knowledge of PEG tubes, ceiling hoists, and catheter care.
However, education will be provided internally, and we will assist with external education needs.
Pay as per the Nursing 2020 (Aged Care) award, and all allowances are paid.
We require two nurses to work for 2 hours in the morning and for 2 hours in the late afternoon.
These do not have to be the same people.
You will be expected to work independently but with an excellent support network from our highly skilled Clinical Services Manager, which includes the opportunity for paid shadow shifts.
The client is non-verbal, meaning that he has high communication needs as he uses a communication board and eye contact.
