Responsibilities
* Create individualised learning experiences for children in a smaller setting
* Operate your own business from home and set your own work hours
* We provide set up and ongoing support for locations across Gippsland
About the role
If you are looking for a change from centre-based care and would like the freedom to work the hours that suit you and your lifestyle, then Family Day Care is a great alternative.
Working in a smaller setting - up to 7 children at any one time and no more than 4 children under school age, allows you to build long lasting bonds with children and their families and create personalised care and education programs.
The benefits
We will support you with regular home visits, training, meetings and workshops to maintain your skills and knowledge, and to deliver quality education and care to the children in your service.
Enjoy the benefits of being a Family Day Care Educator:
* Choosing the hours and days you work
* Building relationships with families in your community
* Caring for your own children at home, while earning an income.
Your family day care business will be what you make of it. For some, it’s a bit of extra money and for others, it’s a full-time career.
About you
To be considered you will hold, or be willing to obtain:
* An approved Certificate III level training
* Victorian Working with Children Check OR Tasmanian Vulnerable Person Check and Police Check (International Police Check also if relevant) for all persons at the premises over 18
* HLTDAID004 First Aid and HLTDAID001 CPR
* Public Liability Insurance
* Australian Business Number (ABN)
