Demonstrated ability to proactively undertake a range of maintenance duties including some trade experience relevant to the role and co-ordinate contractors when necessary. SC2. Demonstrated capacity to work effectively & independently without direct supervision, to follow instructions, take on responsibility, be self-motivated and show initiative. SC4. Demonstrated knowledge and awareness of Occupational Health and Safety guidelines and practices. SC5. A strong ethic and a sense of pride in efficiently completing work to a high standard and in a timely fashion. Role Some attendance is required during school holiday vacation periods. An education support class position at this range will perform tasks that are carried out in accordance with guidelines, accepted practice, and school policy under supervision and direction. The role of this position is: to maintain and improve the condition of the school environment, including both buildings and grounds, to be safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing to manage the use and maintenance of equipment within the work area. Responsibilities This position works with the Business Manager and Principal to ensure that the school meets the Department's compliance of facility management requirements.
