This includes liaising with key stakeholders, managing design processes, and reviewing design's quality, suitability, and completeness.Key Responsibilities:- Design Coordination: Lead and manage the design process from concept to completion, ensuring all design elements align with project specifications and client requirements. - Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and coordination throughout the project life cycle.-Project Management: Oversee time-lines, budgets, and resources to ensure design milestones and projects are on schedule and within budget.- Produce the required documents for council approval to obtain construction certificates (DA, CC, CDC).- Deliver unique design stages, including marketing, design drafting, and more.- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of design documents and drawings to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.Skills & Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in design coordination within the commercial and industrial construction sectors.- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods, preferably in commercial and industrial settings.- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.- Exceptional project management, communication, and organisational skills.- Extensive knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and regulations.Company Description:Our client, a privately owned industrial and commercial construction company in South Windsor, Northwestern Sydney, is seeking anexperienced Design / Approvals Coordinator to join its team.
