We are currently seeking applications for a System Support
Consultant, to join the SSSA Business Systems, Financial Systems
team at The Department of Treasury & Finance, for an initial
period up to 30th June 2025 with possibility of extension. This
position will be located at our Pt Adelaide office.
Remuneration: ASO6, $98,478 - $104,165
p.a.
About the opportunity:
Currently Shared Services SA, on behalf of agencies, maintains
and uses a legacy Mainframe-based Financial Management System
(Masterpiece). A project is currently being progressed to
replace Masterpiece with the Oracle Fusion ERP cloud, which will
transform financial management process across in-scope SA
Government agencies.
The System Support Consultant is accountable to the Manager,
Financial Systems for providing financial application systems
support and maintenance. This includes analysing and resolving
Masterpiece Financial Management System application and linked
system software issues in collaboration with client agencies and
stakeholders, delivery a timely, high quality and secure support
services across government.
About you
A highly skilled System Support Consultant, with a strong
understanding of Masterpiece, or skills in legacy Mainframe
analysis, coding and reporting is required initially during the
transition period with the possibility of extension.
The incumbent will be required to liaise with a range of staff
within Shared Services SA and Agencies receiving services.
To be successful you will be:
Experienced in the support and maintenance of legacy
Mainframe applications.
Have the
ability to work independently, under limited direction.
Experience in the use of extraction tools such as SAS.
A strong understanding of Masterpiece or
similar legacy Financial Systems.
Demonstrated experience in SQL and
associated database query tools such as CA-Dataquery.
