With a significant amount of shopping centres interstate, they are seeking a Tenancy Delivery Manager to join their Melbourne team (Circa 10 people in the TDM team) and work alongside the National Tenancy Delivery Manager on a single-site, or portfolio of Shopping Centres regionally in VIC.
The Tenancy Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the progress of tenancy deliverables and managing the coordination of retail tenancy fit outs in established centres.
Key Responsibilities of the Tenancy Delivery Manager: Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders to secure and manage project work.
Execute reconfiguration projects, ensuring alignment with cost and schedule targets.
Participate in regular action/asset meetings to stay informed about all aspects of the shopping centre, with a focus on leasing-funded capital works.
Conduct regular visits to shopping centres to monitor the progress of leasing capital works and tenant fit outs and implement strategies to expedite the shop delivery process.
Collaborate with Leasing Managers on budget preparations, identify relevant work scopes, and request proposals from consultants and contractors to obtain cost estimates and bids.
Work closely with Centre Operations Managers and other centre team members to coordinate the delivery of shops and tenant fit-out periods, ensuring tenants open on time and fulfill all lease obligations.
The Individual: Experience in the retail shopping centre environment.
Minimum 5 years' experience in operations in retail/property management.
In-depth experience with contractor management.
Can work as part of a team or autonomously.
Impeccable communication both verbally and in written form.
