We do more than collect the bin from your street; we also:
1. Convert waste into clean energy
2. Divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost
3. Manufacture customised waste management equipment
4. Asbestos removal
5. Refine and recycle oil
6. Manage and maintain our fleet in-house
7. Have our own bespoke technology systems

ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a JJ’s Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Maintenance Mechanic, you will play an integral role within our workshop team in our Wagga Wagga depot. You will report to the Workshop Manager and will be conducting all facets of preventative maintenance and repair of heavy rigid vehicles including brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics, and fabrication.

We will work with you to ensure your Work/Life Balance.
ABOUT YOU
1. Have trade qualifications as a Truck Mechanic - Heavy Commercial Vehicles
2. Demonstrate an exceptional eye for detail
3. Complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
4. Have a HR and forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
5. Have a good mechanical aptitude
6. Demonstrate a professional and outcome focus
7. Work well individually and as part of a team
8. Want to be part of a culture of learning and continuous improvement
9. Be dedicated and reliable; we are an essential services industry
10. Demonstrate the ability to build rapport and relationships with all stakeholders
11. Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance and customer service
12. Light Vehicle Qualified or 2nd/3rd year Heavy Vehicle Apprentice candidates encouraged to apply!
