As we continue to expand our customer base, we are seeking a motivated Sales and Marketing Executive to join our team based in our Central Coast branch to drive sales growth while promoting our business and partner suppliers in the market.
Position Overview: The Sales and Marketing Executive will be responsible for driving sales revenue and increasing market share by developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies. This position requires a dynamic individual with a passion for sales, preferably an understanding of the foodservice industry and current / previous marketing skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B sales, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and key partner suppliers. For new candidates to the business, this role will be required to be completed at the Wyong office with options to complete some of the role WFH post an agreed probation period.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
* In collaboration with our sales team account managers, connect with existing customers to grow our share of product purchases;
* Reduce and eliminate low dated and slow moving product write offs through contact and selling to our existing customer base;
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the foodservice industry, including pizza shops, cafes and burger shops;
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through daily ordering and operations requirements while actively prospecting and acquiring new accounts;
* Become an integral member of the customer service and admin team by being able to interact directly with customers, resolving daily queries and with the ability to be cross trained in certain tasks to cover leave requirements.
Marketing Campaigns and Brand Promotion:
* Collaborate with the sales and purchasing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns tailored to the foodservice industry;
* Coordinate and implement the supplier partner program calendar of activations;
* Utilise a variety of marketing channels, including digital marketing and social media to raise business brand awareness and generate leads;
* Analyse market trends and customer insights to identify opportunities for product positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities;
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to optimise results.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales and/or customer service, preferably in the foodservice or hospitality industry;
* Excellent communication and presentation skills;
* Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and manage time effectively;
* Proficiency in sales reporting software, ERP systems and digital marketing tools;
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
