Job Title: Debt Recovery Officer Location: Sydney Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week) Temporary, ASAP start About the Role Our client is seeking a diligent Debt Recovery Officer to join their team.
As a vital member, you will play a crucial role in managing debt, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the financial well-being of the community.
Key Responsibilities: Handling incoming calls, queries, and requests for hardship or payment arrangements.
Providing prompt and accurate verbal and written responses regarding debt management and other issues related to Rates, Valuations, and Property.
Monitoring payments and taking corrective actions for non-payment or failed payments.
Offering appropriate information and advice to customers via telephone, email, or in person regarding payments and rate arrears inquiries.
Job Requirements: Previous experience in Government/Healthcare/Education/NFP/Public Sector in a similar role.
Experience with customer service, especially with Financial Hardship.
Good financial and numerical skills.
