We're Looking for a Team Leader
The processes at the Fulfillment Centers (FCs) are largely manual, involving large numbers of associates. One of the most critical roles is that of a Team Leader who acts as a mentor/guide to the associates towards ensuring customer expectations are met by following our standard work practices while keeping safety and quality in mind.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Daily management of shift
* Administrative management of associates
* Job allocation to associates
* Monitoring and mentoring of associates on productivity, quality, and safety
* Analysis of data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve performance
* Monitor status of problem-solving queues
* Responsible for shift quality and associated action plans
* Preparing and implementing training and development plans for associates
* Conduct a 4M and 5S audit for the respective workstations daily
* Implement formal process control and process improvement mechanisms such as Kaizen
* Defining the transportation process from FC to FC/RSC
* Ensure enough bandwidth in the sortation team to ensure peak time delivery management
* Continuously improve throughput and attain a sustained level of delivery performance improvement
* Stand-in for Area Manager
Requirements
* High school or equivalent
* Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
* Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
* Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
* 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
