Fraser Isle Spanner Crab is currently seeking experienced Deck Hands to work within the Australian Fishing Zones. The Company operates several crab fishing boats, targeting spanner crab, blue swimmer crab and reef fish along the Queensland southeast coastline stretching from the NSW border to Bundaberg.
Depending on the conditions, crew members may be away from home for several days and there is usually only a short turnaround before heading back out to sea. The Company also maintains a drug and alcohol-free workplace, and employees may be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

The work experience must be evidenced by a signed sea service record or logbook, and employment references will also need to be provided.
SalarySuccessful candidates will be paid an annual salary which will be negotiated according to qualifications, skills, experience and performance in the same or similar occupation. The annual salary guarantee for full-time employees will be $70,000 (based on a 38-hour week) plus superannuation.
