Tarampa Assist is a registered NDIS Provider assisting customers 24/7 with their high intensity support needs, daily living needs, social outings, transport, support coordination etc. Due to our continuing growth and our ability to move into more complex care, we have a position available for a Registered Nurse. Key responsibilities include: Provide necessary and appropriate clinical nursing services to individuals living with a disability in a community setting. This includes, but is not limited to, dysphagia, bladder, subcutaneous injections, and bowel management. Make appropriate referrals to internal and external community / health organisations. Liaise with other members of the customers health care team both internally and externally to ensure holistic support and excellent communication within the team. Empower individuals to make informed lifestyle choices relating to community nursing care. Building our community care team Contribute to the preparation of funding applications to support customers where expert nursing input is required. On-site training and assessment of Individual Support Workers (ISWs) Provide information regarding provision of best practice community-based personal care and clinical support as required. Create, implement, monitor, and maintain individualised Customer Health Plans. Assist customers with medication as required. Conduct documented medical assessments of Customers to assist in the identification of clinical issues. Commitment to work safely and within legislation and Organisational Policy and Procedures Ensure compliance with NDIS, Residential Services, My Aged Care standards and frameworks, and any other legislative requirements relevant to the role. Ensure personal compliance with Nursing Practice Standards Actively participate in internal and external audit programs Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures. Applicants must have: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent Current unrestricted AHPRA Certification Current NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card) Current Working with Children (Blue Card) Current First Aid Certificate Current CPR Sound computer skills Drivers Licence Must have current work rights in Australia.
