Our team is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Team Lead to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and support a team of skilled counselors and practitioners while fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and continuous improvement.
* Oversee the delivery of mental health and well-being services to ensure they meet high standards and align with our business values and mission.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and community partners to understand their needs, promote services, and strengthen partnerships.
* Conduct regular supervision, performance reviews, and professional development sessions with team members to ensure effective service delivery.
* Manage case allocation, monitor workloads, and provide guidance on complex cases as necessary.
* Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and best practices in children's mental health and family services.
* Support continuous improvement by monitoring program outcomes and contributing to program development.
* Collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives, reporting, and service enhancement.
Qualifications and Requirements
* A degree in Social Work, Social Science, Counselling, or Psychology.
* Applicants should be eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), hold Clinical Membership with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), or possess general registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Up-to-date knowledge and recent experience in providing clinical supervision.
* Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a mental health, counselling, or social services setting.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with children, young people, and families.
* A current driver's license and a Working with Children Check (or a willingness to obtain one).
