They are now seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join their Sydney team for a 12-month fixed-term contract The Role As a Technical Support Specialist you will provide expert technical guidance on Life Science Microscopy and Imaging systems. Acting as the go-to resource for sales teams and clients, you will deliver technical solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide product application support to drive success across our Life Science portfolio Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary technical advisor for Life Science microscopy and imaging systems, assisting sales teams and customers remotely and on-site. Provide hands-on support for complex customer requirements, collaborating with sales staff to deliver effective solutions. Offer technical guidance on imaging software and associated hardware, ensuring optimal integration and functionality. Support service teams with warranty-related inquiries and technical troubleshooting for Life Science products. Manage and maintain demonstration and loan equipment, including setup, tracking, and quality control. Facilitate training sessions for sales teams to enhance product knowledge and technical capabilities. Assist the marketing team in the preparation of materials for new product launches, including presentations, promotional content, and campaigns. Contribute to tenders and proposals for Life Science products. Role Requirements: A degree in Biological Sciences or a related field, with strong knowledge of microscopy or imaging systems. 1-2 years’ experience working with Microscopes and Imaging technologies, including associated software and advanced solutions. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly. Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
