Job Description
We are expanding our Behaviour Support team and welcome experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to join a multidisciplinary team making a positive impact.
You will bring expertise, maturity, and strong time management and organisational skills to the role.
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will provide supports to NDIS participants in Canberra, Queanbeyan, Tuggeranong, Gunning, Yass, Gundaroo, Belconnen, Jerrabomberra, and surrounding areas.

You will:
* Assist NDIS participants, families, and/or carers to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
* Evaluate, develop, and deliver evidence-based support plans within a complex support space.
* Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising a positive behaviour support framework.
* Ensure individual plans reflect NDIS participants' goals, passions, and strengths.
* Build knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those who support participants in their lives.
Qualifications
* Current suitability as a Behaviour Support Practitioner confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
* Report writing experience.
* Experience in mentoring and supervising other Behaviour Support Practitioners.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
* Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas.
